Today is National Take Your Dog to Work Day! While many celebrate by bringing their pups along for the day, our hardworking guide dogs are on the job EVERY day.
Meet Winona, a loyal yellow Labrador retriever who works alongside Lindsey, an elementary school speech-language pathologist in Vista, California. Their bond is a reminder of the important role guide dogs play in creating independence for people who are blind or have low vision.
This week, Claire speaks with a colleague from VisionServe Alliance about a new platform that ACB members can use to reach out to Congress. This new resource, Speak4, will make it easier than ever to advocate to Congress about important issues our community is involved with.
