The background is a luminous reflection from an orange rock glowing in the early morning light. A small black bird is darting through the frame hunting for insects. Its wings are spread. The reflection is almost clearer than the 'real bird' and each wing feather is clearly delineated.

@dmartuk there are so many apps… Some are quite costly, but my favourite app is a Dutch/Belgian app called “waarnemingen.nl” or with .be extension.
Most important about the app.. It recognizes a species from a photo. And it keeps score of everything you registered.. Date location time etc. Furthermore you can see what others spotted. Gives you a chance to check out that area as well. Recognition of bird sounds in the same app would be great. Good luck designing. Keep us posted.
