๐งต I'm very grateful to @sascharode1986 for allowing me to test early #SDFModeler beta versions.
Today I tested an improved export algorithm: Surface Nets instead of Marching Cubes.
I did four tests in #Blender using my stylized high-poly headโฆ
1-3 = Moustache close-ups.
Left = MC, Right = SN.
1. SN has better polygon distribution.
2. SN has no ultra-thin / overlapping faces.
3. Both SN. Right one has a Corrective Smooth modifier.
4. Ear smoothing in Sculpt Mode: SN has no singularity issues.
I'm directing another short film this year! Super excited!!

@metin Really nice, Metin. I definitely take another look at the Lux Renderer as soon as I've some spare time. Tried it some years ago, but ended in using Cycles all the time. Mainly because of stability and support. Does it also support GPUs?

We recently improved the spreadsheet in Blender in multiple ways:
* Context path moved to the side making space for menus.
* Columns can be resized/reordered.
* It remembers the order of columns.
* Supports horizontal scroll wheel.
Blender now automatically hides #GeometryNodes inputs if their usage depends on a menu input. This allows building higher level node groups without having to show all the inputs all the time. #b3d #devfund

This is an updated workflow for turning Grease Pencil strokes into a base mesh that can then be used for sculpting. The previous workflow used the Convert to Path option, which is now gone. #B3D #Blender3D #Blender
