We are now working with a church and the owner of Dragonfly Design to pick up where OBOTG left off.

Oh. And I broke my arm on February 16th. Had to have surgery.

The family?

Elena is still in kindergarten. She's staying with her dad until summer break. We get tons of pictures, stories, phone calls, etc. She's doing great!

Suzy, Anthony, and Luna are here at the newest hotel with Cat Myself and Buddy. They arrived February 20th.

Operation Boots on the ground tried everything to help us but in the end were unsuccessful. Samaritan's Purse was their last shot. And Samaritan's denied us for "gender orientation reasons".

🔷Hotel coverage:
🔹Week 1: We payed for and Cats grandma covered the difference.
🔹Week 2: We used points from the hotel reward program to get us like a week
🔹Week 3: We use more hotel reward points to book a Hotel in Boone, Putting us closer to the damaged address while OBOTG work continues

In the meantime FEMA approved one of our cars just before the GOV freeze. We are the proud owners of a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

🔸Operation boots on the ground reaches out to me promising help and huge things. We cry and trust them.

♦️1 week return for staples removal
♦️2 incisions
♦️No cast til Staples out
♦️Blood blister. Drained in office before resplinting
♦️Hand ✋🏻 is fine. Cleared and given green light to use fingers and hand more
♦️Re splinted and slinged
♦️X-rays and incisions look great other than the now recessed blister

Cat ALWAYS helps me with my HRT shot. I can't do it without her.

That acknowledged, someone help me tell this woman thank you. With my broken arm I couldn't do my shot last night.

Instead of simply helping, Cat bravely did it for me. I'm so freaking appriciative. I love her so much.

Angry rant and complaints for the aether.

*Arm is healing.
*My autism hates the feeling of the metal plates moving
*Pain meds have me feeling cooky AF
*The sling is also digging and sore.
*Laying down hurts. I wish I had a body pillow.
*I can't cuddle my partner without pain
*I can't pet my dog
*I can't dress or undress myself
*Sleeping is a joke
*I spent all day talking to injury lawyers. My brain is soup
*Our hotel stay ends the 21st. Life stops for no one.

Operative Findings:
Both bones comminuted, shortened, angulated, displaced, mid shaft Forearm, left, closed fractures

I survived surgery. I'm a cyborg. I have metal plates now. They gave me a 24 hr nerve block so I'm ok rn. Buddy did fantastic in the ER. Goodest service boy. Recovery time. At our hotel. I'm ok ish. I have a sling.
