Republicans: The left is unable to think rationally and have to resort to political violence.
Also Republicans: Democrats in Congress should be arrested and killed.

I used to think GTA stood for Gran Turismo Advance.

At this point, just never let anyone interact with Samus ever again. I know she's too hot to be forever alone, but it's for the best.

@proscience Would it? I think everyone already knows he doesn't want the files to come out.

Don't get excited about voting on releasing the files. If a bill doesn't have a two-thirds majority in favor, the president can just veto it.

I wish I could magically lose 80 pounds and learn how to dance. And learn Japanese and American Sign Language. And Shotokan.

In Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy there was an immortal time traveler who decided he would spend eternity tracking down and insulting every single person to ever live, one by one. It was always absurd to me but now, looking at social media from just the last few years, I get it.

It really kills me to see that Double Dragon and River City Girls are so much more popular than Kunio-kun.

I just learned The Pokémon Company tried to capitalize on the death of Charles Schulz by hiring a furry and a pedophile to make a bad newspaper comic. I love capitalism.

@ClevelandRock i think that the technological changes have become more incremental rather than fundamental. The 90's to early 00's saw some big shifts in gaming: 16bit consoles opened up fast paced sprite based games beyond the late 80's; optical storage meant games could be bigger, including recorded music and video; advent of accessible polygon graphics took games fully into the 3rd dimension.

Most of what happened since has been adding more playtime, polygons, and reflections 😛

@ClevelandRock definitely the latter.

20 years ago the leaps in technology from the previous decade were HUGE. the last decade has been incremental at best. The SNES compared to a PS3 has such a capability jump in what a game can actually be. PS3 to PS5? Eh.. sure some titles push things but the fundamentals of how a game is hasn’t changed much. Some have gotten bigger, sure, and the graphics shinier but the underlaying concepts are similar.

In 2005, games from 10 years ago felt very "retro."
Today, games from 10 years ago don't feel "retro" at all.
Is this because I'm old or have video games just not changed much?
