A friend is going to a holiday party that is "Pacific Northwest" themed. We're pretty sure they're just wanting people to dress grunge, but my friend actually lived in the PNW for a good part of his 20s (1980s and 1990s) and has a different take on what is PNW. He shared what he was going to "come as" and bring—he was a beach bum, ate a lot of mussels he harvested, drank cheap wine—and they got weirded out.

I told him he should go as a tweaker and steal all their copper wiring and plumbing.

Whoa. Someone at work got hacked, and the attack involved Adobe DMs? A PDF was created on my coworker's Google drive and shared with other people.

I am not in IT, but our current IT department is having a hard time figuring out how this went down.
