Wow! That was quite the day, spent over 13 hrs of it immersed in nature. Images will follow at some point but in the meantime I'm maximising my nature soaked bucolic lifestyle. Really hard to believe I live in a large city sometimes. Paisley Road West is a shock to the system but it does allow for a speedy dash to Aldi to buy tomorrows packed lunch. Hope to be back out enjoying the great outdoors, package deliveries though...Gawd knows.

Spent the afternoon working in the rain pulling out broad leaved dock weed, it was going great until our fork split in two, a serious case of metal fatigue.

Sorry not been posting much lately, been spending time in the great outdoors quite a bit but not so much taking photos. Trying to regain mojo just now. A red fox at golden hour with zero seconds of wait time! She was at my usual stake out location when I arrived. Had to set up really quick and settle for a hand held shot with my archaic DSLR with no IBIS; should add though, the lens does have VR, just as well. #FridayFox #Nikon #AffinityPhoto

A highland cow splashes through a flooded field with lush dock leaf foliage on the side nearest the camera, she is walking almost to the dry area, just a couple of steps away, but nonetheless copious amounts of white water catch the light from her forefeet ploughing powerfully through the water which rises about one third the way up her legs. The pasture behind is predominantly grass, with some reed tussocks directly behind the highland cow, the variety of which is entirely orange in colour. The have well developed horns giving them quite a wild appearance with their thick coats of hair.

Darn, turns out the future has gone for replicating something out of a Robert Heinlein novel, it's okay to read about it, another to actually live it. Although, personally, I lean towards a simulation set up my some sick fecker who's only in it for the laughs and giggles.

Shipwrecks are absolutely amazing places, especially in The Sound of Mull and indeed River Clyde at the estuary.
