Come say hello and see the show I’m in? I’ll be at the Gallery 4-5 on Thursday, the 5th.
This is one of 4 works created for a giant exquisite corpse drawing that extends in 4 directions, like a quilt. A cool idea by the Still Utopia+Exquisite Corpse Collective.

Gallery MC, 545 West 52nd Street New York, NY 10019, 6-8PM.

It isn’t done till you lint roll.

I’m halfway through a two-part commission for a new collector. This first panel is built from the finished edges of roughly 300 garments from my own collection. The second panel will be all denim, supplied by the client.

More soon.

Came across this feature from @booooooom! and was astonished to see that it’s from 15 years ago, featuring work from the first 10 years of my art career.

I’ve done so much work but I have so many projects still living in my head! I’m grateful that I am still excited about secondhand clothing and looking forward to the exhibitions I have scheduled for 2026.

Clothing becomes structure, structure becomes movement, movement becomes sound.

It was truly a joy to watch Sarah Swift bring the set design to life. I love the way she and Michael improvise here, as Dawn quietly emerges from behind the orange cut-out piece.

Where we are... where we are going

WIP wall-work for a new commission. Excited to be back to this piece.
Made from over 300 seams from unwearable second-hand clothing. There is some ochre in there.. do I keep it or remove it?

Where we are now. Where we are going.
I'm close to finishing this wall-work, made from over 300 seams from unwanted second-hand clothing. It will be 20" x 18” and appear to be emerging from the wall.

Today is the last day of the fundraiser I am holding for The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ+ young people.
This one-time sale is available exclusively to subscribers of my newsletter. DM me and I’ll send you the link.

Among the works offered is this early drawing from 2005, Where I imagined every piece of clothing I own—neatly folded, stitched end to end, and rolled into a dense spiral.

Wrapped! So great to collaborate with the brilliant Kelly Reemtsen at Galleri Oxholm. Working with Kelly pushed my practice in bold new directions, and the gallery couldn't have been more supportive. Huge thanks to both!

We were surrounded by friends and family, but special thanks to Paul Cox-we couldn't have done it without you.

The show runs in Kege from May 10 - June 12, and then travels to the gallery's Copenhagen location.

Each of these stacked clothing sculptures was created in direct response to a painting by my dear friend Kelly Reemtsen. Together, they form a visual conversation—each echoing the other in unexpected ways.

Our collaborative show, Gathering Threads, opens this Saturday, May 10th at noon at Galleri Oxholm in Køge, Denmark.

This mini stack of second-hand clothing is almost ready to roll.
Collaborating with Kelly Reemtsen, I mirrored the colors of the dress in her painting.
Both works will be part of our upcoming show, Gathering Threads, opening soon at Galleri Oxholm in Køge, Denmark.

A Collaborative Exhibition.
We’re thrilled to invite you to the opening of our upcoming show at Galleri Oxholm. This collaborative project is a celebration of artistic dialogue-an exploration of how different materials, techniques, and perspectives can come together to create something entirely new.

Did you ever create a time capsule? I made this one in 1976. Not sure if it was a school assignment (related to the bicentennial?), or just a fad, but I recently came across mine. The instructions are to open it 100 years from this year. I can't decide what to do. Do I open it? Do I pass it along to my grand nephew? Do I see if the Ballston Spa Historical Society wants it? What would you do? #1976
