The song expresses wishes for peace and well-being for a farewell, but has often been used advocating...at memorial events remembering Jewish victims of the Holocaust and anti-semitic violence."

On the surface, it seems like a nice selection, and it has a great verse about farewell to friends that I'm sure really resonated with the kids.
