My two main research projects are:

1) pedagogical translanguaging and creative language learning in mainstream education in Scotland

and

2) my professional career as a public service translator and interpreter sparked my academic interests in CLB and language policy which I investigate also in the Scottish context.

As a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, I have a keen interest in educational research and SoTL.
