@a_cubed @MelSedds I doubt there's anything in the works. I'm such a diva and used to say "you'll manage to remember me without LinkedIn 😉" and frankly, emails work just as fine imo. Since I've semi-moved to a different position, it was requested of me that I play the LinkedIn game. Apparently, the organization broadcasts stuff and my job is to clap. Imo, LinkedIn can stay right where it is. The Fediverse wouldn't benefit much from a flood of sycophants.

New instance, new #Introduction
I have a couple other accounts out there but I'll keep this one as corporate as possible. Calcul Quebec's comms team has recently moved away from #X and is phasing out #Facebook. They insist on keeping #LinkedIn for quite valid reasons and they want to try #Bluesky, which is also fair. However, I want to prove that #Mastodon and the #Fediverse are just as valid for reach.
I'll mostly be talking about the #HPC and #Quantum research in #Quebec and #Canada
Posts will be French, English, or bilingual depending on the topic. Topics will range from #funding and #infrastructure to #research and #cybersecurity , along with possibly government announcements that might impact any parts of my work.
