Posting about trans rights here can seem like preaching to the choir. But Fran mostly posts about investigating and restoring old gadgets (especially obsolete electric and electronic display devices), and she has an audience of engineering nerds who are just interested in strange old technology, so I think this has some potential to reach people who might not be otherwise sympathetic. I notice that the few haters among the mostly sympathetic comments aren't even really trying to make arguments, they're just going "nuh-uh".

A while back, she was talking about the increasing cost of living and commenters kept telling her to come to Florida, it's cheap here! She posted a response explaining that she couldn't move to Florida because she couldn't even *pee* in Florida.
