Actualment, Arnaiz és catedràtica de Didàctica i Organització Escolar de la Universitat de Múrcia, amb una trajectòria de més de 42 anys, i és considerada una de les pioneres, a l’Estat espanyol, en processos d’inclusió dins del sistema educatiu.
