@CeltMacGann Buying twitter. I really don't get it with a price tag like that. Easy to say one wants a team burning for the cause when the project will benefit oneself. Cuz I can't really see how the workers themselves would benefit more from fully dedicating themselves rather than just doing it mediocre. Honestly seems like a more healthy relationship to work.

Motivated to learn programming:
Later the same day I got a more wacky idea of a punk screaming contest where you'd imitate the impeccable screaming of Avskyvärlds vocalist (Lule 2009-era crusty hardcore), but only for a single iconic scream in the song "Jag är Lagen".
I'd wanna program so that u press record, the song starts, you scream your bit. It cuts shortly after, uses your screaming clip and mixes it with the original song. I'd need source material from the song and incorporate Audacity2/2

Motivated to learn programming:
Yesterday at art school we were talking about weaving again. I have the textile block. Apparently a program that lets you test patterns is really useful. It seemed kind of easy to program and really useful. 1/2

I'm really close to finishing up my third fanzine of the series where I document my time at art school.
This installment takes place on the half-year after art school ended, since I didn't apply for the second year. So I guess it's just a zine about my life with art as the focus now.
Gotta change the name I guess since it was just 'My first half-year at Sunderby art school' and then 'My second half-year at Sunderby art school'

Doing ceramics at art school. Couple of weeks into it and one week + 3 days remaining now. Made a ½ meter high sculpture of a person looking fabolous and some hexagonal cups. It was super challenging in the start but now that I got into it it's just fun.

I am also in the group that will make marsipan pigs again. Didn't see myself joining the group but what can I say, I always learn a lot from working in big groups.

Also arranging a LAN this weekend at the school. Gonna be fun and chill!

Regarding the Swedish goberment to approve Beowulf mining the rights to start a mine in Gállok near Jokkmokk.

The talk about Swedish oppression against Sámi people being a thing of the past is not true in the slightest. Clearcut forests, wind power, water power and huge mines.
It affects us deeply and we don't get to reap the rewards.

The decision to let a mine be opened in Gállok is the wrong one. It would be a shitty mine productionwise and a crime.

"a lot wants more" is a swedish expression. There are some protests going on right now north of sweden where the states foresting company wants to clearcut some natural forest. Sweden has very very little natural forest left and with the crowns history in the north of Sweden. Big props to everyone making their voices heard and forwarding the opinion of people like me that can't be there.
