I read that the new Japanese PM is a woman. And she’s far-right. I fear that one of the only ways that this country — the US — will ever have a woman president is if she’s a radical reactionary on the Right. It seems that right-wing women are more acceptable as leaders in patriarchal democracies like the U.S. and Japan. Unlike in less patriarchal democracies — Nordic countries — that have already had center and center-left women leaders for years. I hope I’m wrong. #japanespolitics #uspolitics
