Next model on the bench.

The 1/650 Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser. This is the most recent re-release from Round2 Models.

Going old-school with a "mostly" out of the box build.

This will be for a Star Trek 60th Anniversary group build with some online modeling buddies of mine.

I see a lot of putty and primer in my future ... Starting soon.

Box of a model kit. The 1/650 Klingon Battle Cruiser from AMT/Round2 Models. Back-left illustration of the ship in space near a ringed planet. Box is on a wooden shelf with a grey background.

@mdione

I've popped the filter out of the funnel a couple of times. It's thin and a little easy to kink, so do it from the back with the fattest thing you can get in there and just slowly increase the pressure till it pops. I used the back of a thick paint brush handle.

After a few years use it was pretty filthy.

I'd get a spare just in case you bend it too much, but mine still works just fine. That or a soak in diluted vinegar or even a water pick if you have something similar.

Two megalania sculptures I printed up and painted. I based the colouring off of Komodo dragons and other various monitor lizards.

I am done with the Bride of Frankenstein. And in time for the deadline!

Here's my finished pics (enough for a thread).

It's not perfect, but I'm getting better.

@erikcats

1/8 Scale, but like a lot of monster figures, the base is pretty involved and thematic. And two full figure options is nice.

IMO, X-Plus is doing it right, so far, with these models.

Work on the continues.

Tomorrow I can gloss/satin seal for a save point. Then, I have to wait a couple days until after Mom's surgery for weathering and face details.

I need to have it done by the 28th, so we'll see.

I think I've done enough damage with the airbrush. Time for some hand painting. The Badger Sotar 20/20 never disappoints.

@ToweroftheArchmage

Some will see. Some will not.

Some will refuse, whatever the facts are. The rallies aren't about them.

It's about those who do see it and are at least willing to think.

I've heard it more than I would have expected, from those who have voted all red since Nixon. Now saying they either won't vote or scratch in another name. Those who have looked around and wondered why their Medicaid will be gone and why the coal hasn't "returned."

They're more primed to see and hear.

The word is nearly 7 million at the rallies (there's always more).

It may just be a number to some; but, that would be like taking the whole population of my state and repeating it ... almost three more times.

Know that many of us in rural America who see those figures will take a pause.

The X-Plus Bride has been primed. Duplicolor automotive black, and Tamiya Grey and Fine White (zenithal).

I did the gap filling with Apoxie Sculpt and some Liquitex Modeling Paste.

Now to let that dry and pick out colors.
