Next time you see a bunch of U-Haul Nazis:

- Have a local person call 9-1-1. Not the police line. 911. And only if you're local. You have to be in the jurisdiction for this to work.

- Report a crime in progress. "I'm watching a dozen or so masked armed men pile into the back of a moving van without seatbelts. I know this to be a crime and I feel unsafe."

- A cop will be dispatched to the scene to conduct an investigation. Nobody will go to jail over this. This is at best a misdemeanor.

- However the cops will still have to pile everybody out of the vehicle and ID them to issue seatbelt violations. That means body cam footage.

- Body cam footage that can be FOIA requested by antifascist investigators. That means drivers license photos, names, and addresses of Nazis.

- That means Nazis who lose their job, get kicked out of their mom's basement, etc. Many of these sick fucks only do what they do because they're operating under the assumption of anonymity. Take that assumption away.

@Susan_calvin That is correct. A peaceful action group who supported Palestinian rights, and highlighted military shipments from the UK to Israel has been proscribed. It is illegal to promote that group or support it. The website has been closed and the website information moved out of the UK’s jurisdiction. Not mentioned on that site but now #WeAreAllYvetteCooper and #YvetteCooper name should be next for proscription, as the minister who insisted on this proscription. It flies in the face of everything in the anti-terrorism regulations to proscribe a non-violent group. More than twenty people including a priest Revd Sue Parfitt (86 y o) were arrested for silently gathering in London. They had posters nearby with the name of the group on them. Could be sentenced to up to 14 years in jail. 🤬

If you are planning to be arrested for protest's sake, then have a plan and support, make it intentional and public, don't just get randomly disappeared forever at 4am for no good fucking reason because you got baited into posting threats like a fool. This shouldn't be controversial.

Yes the Florida situation is fucking horrifying but the exact thing I'm struggling with today is how they rolled this out - like it was a funny viral marketing campaign. And not in an inside joke sort of way. They did it in a way that made it seem like everyone is in on it. And you know something? They were kind of right.

MAGA fascists were immediately hashtagging Alligator Alcatraz, and selling hats and tshirts, pulling in Mexican food trucks to eat tacos and elotes in front of the death camp for Latinos, and sharing memes about it with each other.

"People getting divorced are setting up gift registries." You mean mutual aid? That's what it is, it's mutual aid. As are wedding registries and baby registries.
