Despite using NextDNS to block telemetry and blacklisting Apple services, 25% of the device’s DNS queries still targeted Apple. In contrast, their 2019 Intel MacBook Pro with the same settings sent less than 3% of its queries to Apple, highlighting increased background activity on newer Apple hardware.
