I got called "Madam" (in Finnish, of course) yesterday and instead of being punched by explosive dysphoria, it just slid off of me like water off a duck. I truly didn't care anymore since my physical discomfort with it has been removed.

It was surreal not to feel violated and disgusted. It was just an old confused lady, not anything about me anymore. I am at peace.

Trans surgeries truly save lives. They allow us to live as ourselves, and breathe freely.
