Please help us to reach #ios developers. We need their feedback to our survey https://fsfe.org/news/2025/news-20250618-01.en.html in order to keep #Apple accountable under the #DMA in a developer friendly way. #DeviceNeutrality
A few times a year, I pick up an old movie or book and have a watch/read through again.
1-2 decades later, the same material can have a lot different impact.
I'm glad I have the physical media, too. I can be sure Disney or Amazon or whoever didn't go changing the story lol
IndiaFOSS 2025 aims to be more than just a FOSS conference, we want it to be representative of the diverse voices that make up the FOSS ecosystem.
Weโre inviting organisations and individuals to support our Diversity Scholarship, which enables students, speakers, coders, and dreamers to attend the conference.

Edit: for bonus points it messes with your OCD. There's a method to the madness
Iโm sad to see that most people have lost the sense of and the interest to experience and enjoy things as they are, just to capture photos and videos on their phones and losing out on the experiences. ๐
If you're in the EU or the UK I highly encourage you to look in and support the #StopKillingGames initiative, all relevant information can be found on the website
My teenage sister who recently got an old Surface Pro, didn't like Windows at all. Even though it has decent specs the performance and touch experience is horrible.
Earlier she was using MacOS and before that she had a thinkpad with Fedora Gnome. She never said anything about the OS.
Windows gets in the way so much that you realize how invisible the other options are.
First step for non-x86_64 contributions
While we don't promote non-#FOSS apps, we can salute #Brave for setting up their own #FDroid repository for #BraveBrowser. @brave how about a fully FOSS browser in f-droid.org next? ๐

New: Proton is challenging Karnataka HC's April 29 blocking order against Proton Mail on 3 grounds:
1. Proton gave information about one email address to Swiss justice ministry in February 2025 on receiving a validated request.
2. Section 69A and Rule 10 of 2009 Blocking Rules do not empower the court to pass a blocking order.
3. Proton was not served notice so it could not represent itself.
