Bathrooms are challenges enough without a double door challenge but they've done the bathroom and washer dryer setup very difficult. There's like a partal wall separating the bathroom portion from the washer and dryer. Instead of front face side by side they face each other and I'd have very limited accessibility. I know that sometimes actual units are better than the floor plan drawings - case in point is Meadows.

So Lineage is an apartment complex I considered years ago but then the units didn't have washers and dryers. Apparently they newly remodeled them as they emptied I guess and now they do. Their floor plan isn't quite as open as they think it is LOL and you lose a lot over Meadows 890 sq ft vs 80 sq ft for 2 bedroom. Instead of a more open room access they make a hall that you enter like it's a room and have to access that way tbc

My eyes drive me insane at home. I know it's the fragrance from this bed but seriously if they drag their feet too long, I'll just pay College hunks to take it. They'll donate it- but I need my apartment back and for them to settle with the complex on my floor damage

I found an article on the Rite Aid bankruptcy closures. They closed or ate closing over 30 stores just in Oregon They don't list the store in Tigard so maybe I can go there and see if they have what I'm looking for. I may check the BiMart and Walgreens up the road first but the bus scheduling isn't great for them

People told me some Rite Aid pharmacies were closing. Bi-Mart pharmacies closed years ago but the stores remained so I assumed that was the deal here. Nope! That's not good because they have some critical first aid options I use and noone else carries anything as good. I don't know if it is only certain stores but they closed the one near me.

The sun woke up!

I heard our complex was offering $300 to any tenant who could get someone to move in. Boy they must be getting desperate! They can't figure out that if they got rid of their lousy staff and lowered their prices just maybe we wouldn't be running away

I got a few places to look up- all garden walkup. One is a small community but a little close to a school for my taste, but it'd depend where the unit was probably. One is across from Meadows and the other is further up off the main road- walking distance from max but further than I thought. It's a large community but my feeling is if the apartments are right they'll likely be over cap

@baxaphobia @Pawpower @gocu54 @Thumper1964 @lynnskyi Yeah it does take a lot of patience and time. I know when Met was around another service dog, he learned tasks more quickly than otherwise with individual training, but still the process worked well for both my boys.

I'd leave Oregon but it's a huge process for me and I need good accessible public transportation as well as warm drier climate than here. I don't want to go from one extreme to another though either since I'm a natute loving outdoors type

I have bern awake since 2. I got a lot of reading done, but not as much sleep as I would have liked.

I need to be walking distance from max but it doesn't have to be this stop. I may check another area where someone mentioned housing exists. I thought it was all Nike industrial stuff there. My guess anything near Nike would be spendy but who knows

I may be taking myself on a little walk later. There's an opening in the wall along the main road not too far from me, certainly walking distance from max. I've known about that spot for most my time here but never thought much about it because I thought it was a neighborhood where houses were. Recently someone said they thought there were garden walkup apartments. Since Meadows continues to price under cap units upstairs only, I'm widening my horizons to get out before winter

One thing I'm learning isvthat although pressure points don't occur in a waterbed, even though less severe than other mattresses they do occur on air mattresses so this won't be a good long term solution.

Saturday has dawned with more clouds. They are saying it'll hit close to 80 but windy too so I'm not rushing to do too much. My last grab bar is due in today, but Saturday tends to be a busy day at the post office too so it may need to wait until Monday

@baxaphobia @Pawpower @gocu54 @lynnskyi And this is part of why I'm not choosing to even have an in home service dog. My financial abities waiver and I know that caring for a dog would at present impact my own needs. It's tough, but right

My brain is fired! I want one that makes good decisions instead- know where to find one of those?

If I had taken board measurements and kept the wonderful base and bench seat, I could have done this and yet I didn't even consider that this bed would fail because after 35 years and atrophy a standard bed mattress isn't a good solution- even a really sophisticated one.
