It's kind of hilarious that after the fuss when officially Mastodon stopped using the word "toot" for posts that they just made their custom Discord server tag "TOOT".
I decided to wait to enter the backyard yesterday until this butterfly finished its business.

One of my sons just saw a typewriter in a computer game he's playing and he asked me if typewriters are real. π Feeling old now.
I belatedly noticed that my Apple Watch was warning of excessive noise at 6:47 this morning. This raises questions.
1) What the heck made that much noise? (side π at the cats)

It's also kind of "funny" that they reiterated "Please note that we don't charge you for an item until we're ready to ship it" when they charged me for it over a week ago.
I have an Amazon order that's so late they asked me to confirm I still want it. The new estimated delivery is June 7 but the email says "if we donβt hear from you by Wednesday, June 11, 2025, we will cancel the item". The 11th? π€ Doesn't give me confidence in the June 7 estimate.
As if spam texts to buy my house as is aren't bad enough, now they're asking me to sell properties I don't own in cities hours away from me.
That's a punch to the gut.
