@Viss @fusl Left Xitter two years ago for mastodon and never going back. Signed up on a Lemmy instance about a month ago and have to say its very good. It does not have the doom scrolling like Reddit but I would personally argue its a good thing

@fusl i would argue mastodon, but lots of folks are still under the impression that "its too hard to sign up" or something. there's also bsky, which has "less" of a nazi problem, but its an option.

if youre just a 'consumer of stuff' and just want to see things scroll, then either bsky or mastodon are just fine.

theres pixelfed which is an instagram replacement, and also lemmy which is a reddit replacement
