Today is World Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. It’s also an awareness day for ME/CFS and other chronic pain and fatigue conditions.

The only AI books I’d want to read would be written by actual robots who get together in their robotic critique groups, share their stories, and suffer from imposter syndrome. They’d never steal work from any other author and can’t figure out if their first drafts are trash or not.
(I feel a short story coming on.)
Although some of the seafood recipes won’t be for me, I’m slowly working my way through this new cookbook of #GlutenFree! This morning: pancakes!
@stroz I adapted a recipe! When I have the energy, I will create a post about it and share!
Another one of my joys is #gardening. It’s been a rather cold spring in our city, relatively speaking, but my tulips and narcissus blooms cheer me immensely.

@Susan60 Mmmm… cheese!
I also really love #JewelleryMaking. Still learning how to do wire wrapping! My husband chose this blue chalcedony, and I wrapped it yesterday! I love the challenge of wrapping stones that aren’t “perfectly” shaped!
@Uair When I cook, I also do it by feel. But yes, for sure, most baking has to be accurate. Except when I make apple crisp. I do the crisp part by feel!
@Susan60 We are just two as well. But I still bake! Sometimes we just eat a bit then store the rest in the freezer, depending on what we bake.
@ShaulaEvans Thank you!
So, fun fact about me: I have #coeliacdisease and everything I bake is #glutenfree. The only thing is, I have been very insecure about trying to make one of my favourite pies in this whole world: lemon meringue. And, last week, I plunged in. It turned out so well I could’ve wept for joy! #baking
@Uair That’s interesting because I find baking is art! Or maybe the decorating part is! 😊
@adelinej Thanks for the welcome!
An #introduction! I’m a #disabled, #autistic, and #queer Canadian author! My latest book, Season One: Iris and the Crew Tear Through Space won the 2023 Indie Ink Award for “Writing the Future We Need: Disability representation by a Disabled Author!” I love being a disability advocate in literary spaces and really, really, really love baking!
Hiii!
I’m back on Mastodon! Happy #StarWarsDay! #StarWars
