It’s looking like a good night for the Dems and liberal causes in general. That’s why I’m so glad CNN is taking the time to patiently explain how it had nothing to do with Joe Biden and that he’s actually so unpopular he’s dragging down the party. I never would have made the connection otherwise!

As part of planning for a trip I’m making sure my phone is stocked with games. So many of the ones I’ve already installed are incompatible with modern #ios. It’s sad how many good titles were abandoned by their developers. I get it, but this isn’t like Nintendo end-of-lifing a console. I can still play Gamecube games. These are lost forever.

Frankly I see a lot of my mother in #Feinstein (and Ginsburg). She was a woman who was willing to burn through any relationship for the benefit of her family. Willing to put herself through college as a single mother of three for better opportunities. I owe my quality of life to her. At a certain point though, the kids were all grown up but her behavior didn't change.

I have a little sympathy for Dianne Feinstein and women like her from that generation. You had to be a little crazy and overly driven to achieve what they achieved. They had to fight harder than their male peers, and more than anyone in the current crop of legislators. Of course they weren't going to give up the reigns willingly. I can't help see her as the epitome of someone who's greatest strength turned into a fatal flaw with age.
