Highlight of today's conversation with AT&T
Me: "we currently have an internet service with you, but I'm calling about a different service."
Them: "ok, do you have it with you now?"
Me: "have what?"
Them: "the internet service."
Me: "I have the account number yes."
Them: "No, not the account number, the internet."
Me: "Do I have the internet with me now?"
Them: "yes."
Me: "I don't understand."
Them, frustrated: "Can you physically touch the internet right now?"
Me: "What?"
Weezer live in Zürich (CH) - what a fantastic SHOW!😍
Rivers is so sympathetic!
Millions of degrees hot off the press – first results from ESA's PROBA-3 mission, using two spacecraft separated by 150 metres to create artificial solar eclipses.
This makes it possible to trace the solar corona close to the surface of the Sun on a routine basis, not just during actual eclipses.
Congratulations to the PROBA-3 team 👍

Saturday Sunset in South West Scotland looks otherworldly as smoky layers from wildfires in Canada, filter the skies.
#Astrophotography skill goals, in order of exponentially increasing difficulty:
- Get a photo of the stars
- The above, but through small telescope
- Same, but with a 30 second exposure and no star trails
- No star trails on an exposure longer than 1 minute
- Do the above, but have it run all night without an issue
- The above, but on a telescope with a focal length longer than 500 mm
- Same, but on a >1000 mm focal length telescope
- Same, but with 5 minute exposures
@malcircuit Final frontier: Have two seperate rigs (or piggyback) running simultaneously without any issues.
Was troubleshooting the upgrade/ OTA flash process of the firmware of some of my #tasmota devices.
TIL: Its important to use the lite binaries first if the difference in versions is too big.
Starting from 8.1 I had to flash in the following order:
7.2.0 lite (downgrade) > 8.5.1 lite > 9.1 lite > most recent.
*the more you know*
This is an open star cluster that somehow escaped my notice until now. It's IC 4665 in the constellation Ophiuchus. There's really nothing else (besides bright stars) that I can successfully image under this much moon.
Direstraits broadcasts from 1978, love that era around the first and second album. Such a clean playing and tight arrangements!
Made me get myself a red Strat initially when I started playing in 2016 :D
Me looking at the recent music release updates:
Guten Morgen ☀️ Zum ersten Mal überhaupt hat die Solarenergie weltweit mehr Strom erzeugt als die Atomenergie. Solarenergie ist nun die viertgrößte Stromquelle weltweit geworden.
@malcircuit Great album choice🤘
'Figure 8' and 'You first' are my favorites, good luck with the voice training🙌🏻
@admin As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.. :D
An interesting article of the European Southern Observatory @eso.org to detect fake Astro pictures.

Oh and I need to have a look at a suitable UPS (ger: USV). Usually the powergrid in Germany is quite stable, but the database of my Pi suffered a few times after a hard blackout with corrupted files.
