@carnage4life I hope they sort this out. I had an alllergic reaction last week and urgent care sent me to the E.R. out of an abundance of caution. For some reason, the hospital’s initial blood oxygen reading came back low but I’d been taking readings with my watch in the waiting room out of boredom.

The watch readings presumably aren’t as accurate overall but having that data prompted the nurse to redo my O2 reading and rule out that as an issue.

@carnage4life My doubts are more about the economics of scaling and whether, like self-driving car A.I., it’s going to get to 90% of the way there quickly and then stall for a decade. It’s already useful but the next advancements might need more GPUs than the world can even make.

@briankrebs @dangillmor I think we should fine the companies if their exploited systems were more than a few weeks out of date. Zero day exploits are one thing but that isn’t generally what’s happening. It’s usually very old exploits.
