@stux

I'll use it to do what amounts to an interactive web search, and to make a thought-web of a subject I don't have a thorough understanding of.

I treat it like Wikipedia with a possible contentious streak. Ask, and verify.

Because of my hybrid solution, I've been able to determine narrow terminology that I wasn't aware of. And was able to properly research with exact terms, rather than converse with something that potentially hallucinates more and more.

And... They're also good about getting behind paywalls 😂

@SoftwareTheron

The better answer is to...

QUIT FUCKING SEPARATING SPORTS BY SEX OR GENDER.

Everybody goes in the same pool. Everybody competes together. If you do split, do it by weight class.

But if there's no gender distinction, then there's none of the gender contortions, crotch checking, blood checking, etc etc.

Not food for thought.

Food for fraud.

Time to find a probono attorney willing to do a class action against all their 'deceptive and lying advertising' and make an example.

@fj

H1B's were a way to lower wages, and to basically enslave a foreigner to a master, err, I mean company.

And that lower wage pressure hit all of us, not just the H1B's, because the threat was "They're cheaper than you, sit down and shut up, or we'll manufacture proof that your job can't be done by locals and replace you"

Reforming the H1B system to not tie an indentured servant to a company would be best. Getting rid of that program would be preferred.

But in reality, we need sane and decent immigration policies. We've never had them. And its been back and forth on the political spectrum.

@Jorsh hahaha

Of course, its about YHVH followers 😂😂😂😂 why am I not surprised

I'm a pagan. I don't want you to become pagan on my, or anyone else's behalf. If you ask, I'd talk about it.

I also don't want any 'religious rules' enshrined as public legal doctrine. And I spit on those who do want that.

Power has been mostly immune to actual criminal actions, except when power attacks and harms others with power (like Bernie Madoff or Elizabeth Holmes).

Also, things like "corporate veil" and similar social constructs make it look like a company did wrong, and those are almost always a civil matter. Usually, the company will pay out $5 per person in a suit, lawyers get a pound of flesh, and company doesn't admit wrongdoing.

Pushing local legislators to criminalize wage theft would be a superb start, for example. Not sure if that's been tried, but it would finally illegalize a completely legal form of theft.

There's probably more extreme actions, which would undoubtedly be illegal. Again, actual power taken by the citizenry is almost always illegal, but legal when done by the elite. (public protest in streets VS donor supper with lobbyists).

I can say what seems terrible. But as a single person, I don't have any good solutions.

@trogluur

Because ALL crime and punishment is #political. And power isn't held to the same standard as the rest of us.

#Wagetheft (employer cuts time illegally from worker time cards) is the largest theft type, even when adding all other theft together.

Steal $100 from the register? You get arrested and criminal matter.

Employer steals from employee $100 by manipulating time cards? Oh that's a civil matter. Hope you can afford a lawsuit and loss of your job.

Murder is also a #socialconstruct.

If you poison someone else and they die, its murder.

If you make policy that leeches lead and poisons a whole city, and kills many, you get a governorship in Michigan, and a fellow at Harvard.

I'm 6'5", and they come up to my chest and almost my shoulders.

The dumbest part? You want a low truck so the bed is low, and hauling stuff is easier.

And these 'trucks' are like a 4 or 6' bed length, and HIGH off the ground. They can't even fit a single sheet of plywood.

Pans Labyrinth demon where the demons head has no eyes but the eyes are in the palms of his hands.

He's holding his hands, palms open where his eyes would be.

The demon is pale white and pink. No hair. No teeth. Chopped off nose but nostrils.

That's fine to provide a generic atmo measurement. But WHERE are the concentrations of CO2 happening across the world?

Obviously, the USA isnt generating 100%, but we're doing "our part". But getting an idea where else its being done means we can exert pressure against those countries and businesses.

Also, playing with graphs isnt cool either. PPM CO2 should be zero-referenced to show accurate raise.

@SailorDisco

I think you might be missing the direction of my question.

How the fuck did #jkrowling avoid repercussions with her various anti-trans, pro-slavery, jew banker stereotypes, no black people, and "cho chang" stereotypal asian name?

The only real answer that I keep coming back to is it's probably just all about the money.

But what I do know is mass western society is OK with trans-hate, pro-slavery (for the right people), and other Nazi-adjacent opinions.

So... can someone explain this to me. Cause I aint getting it.

So in 1 corner, we have #neilgaiman , who's been accused of various sexual impropriety by his embattled exwife and her friends. Cops were brought in and multiple times did not press charges.

Another corner, we have #josswheadon who was accused of extreme misogyny and abusive behaviors.

And in another corner we have #jkrowling , who after even running lengthy campaigns to legally hate and discriminate against trans people, mockery of asian people, pro-slavery, pro-jew oh GOBLIN banker (nazi) propaganda.

And somehow #jkrowling doesn't only NOT get cancelled, but even has new TV shows that oust all the previous actors who spoke against her and her #trans hatred.

But the men? We don't care about due process. Theyre guilty, throw them away.

Is it really just "man bad, woman good"?
