Here's the video of OpenAI's Sam Altman and Jony Ive talking about their new venture.
There's a LOT of hyperbole. But still, can't help but get a bit excited about what they're hinting at.
The video has a very "Apple in its prime" feel. Take a look.

OpenAI buying Jony Ive's AI startup seems pretty big news, joining an all-time great device designer and world class AI expertise and some pretty deep pockets.

"They Paid $3,500 for Apple’s Vision Pro. A Year Later, It Still Hurts."
You can get a gently used Vision Pro on eBay for a bit more than $2000. There are takers at this price. But a lot of sellers.
I think Apple had to go through this process to eat the learning curve of building this sort of device.
Next gen will be smaller (cheaper?). I think they'll eventually get to a VisPro that will sell like hotcakes.
