Emotional day. My baby girl did good with GCSEs. The anxiety she endured, and my boy too did well in his University exams. Tears of happiness don't happen often, it's emotional. They are my precious jewels. Iam not a materialist , so this matters. ❤️

I've lost my first friend to climate change. She was quite unhealthy, and lived in an apartment with inadequate air conditioning in Phoenix, which has had weeks of dangerously high temperatures. She died earlier this week. You can't reliably attribute a particular death to climate change, just like you can't say a particular hurricane or forest fire was caused by climate change. But my heart knows, and despairs for her and for all of us.
