@jenn these remind me of the animation of the poisoned apple from Snow White
Big fan of “slide to stop” for alarms in iOS 26.1b2, though on the iPhone 13 mini, the label is cut off.
I wish the iOS YouTube app had a built in Action (or at least Shortcuts support) to save a YouTube video to one’s Watch Later playlist.

@marioguzman odd, the CarPlay guidelines recommend against apps that display lyrics.
I’m guessing that this is an iPhone-specific widget that can be added to the CarPlay homescreen?
@paulywill Is 95ºC not too high of a temp? I imagine it makes quick work of removing the moisture, but don't you worry that the Good Stuff™ is getting volatilized/damaged?
@paulywill I use a Excalibur dehydrator with 9 racks (though, I space them out, using only half the racks). I dehydrate either at ~41º (the lowest it goes), or at ambient temp, to minimize heat damage to the cones. Either way, after 10-15 hours, each batch is sufficiently dry.
I then pack the dried hops into vacuum bags, 100g at a time, vacuum the air out, and throw 'em into the chest freezer. I can't use them up fast enough and have to give some away every year.
Well yes, soylent green _is_ people, but you can't just apply existing homicide laws to a business like ours. The entire humans-as-nutritional-sludge industry would be out of business.

If Apple still had courage they would've opened the keynote with this. @atpfm
Hmmmm they made it smaller in the wrong dimension. Bring back the minis!
Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?
It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

The contemporary version of @1password Safari extension is perhaps my buggiest piece of software, and has been for years. Blank popover windows, slow authentication, unreliable autofill, etc. Works as expected maybe 40% of the time. I'm tempted to disable the extension.
Meanwhile, I have a secondary machine (running Sequoia) where I haven't upgraded 1Password from v7, and the Safari extension there works *perfectly*.
