In this 90-minute hands-on session, participants will explore the basics of Monte Carlo integration and learn how stochastic approaches can be applied to complex problems. Using a Python notebook, you'll write a simple pseudo-random number generator and experiment with code snippets and simulations to build your understanding.

Scientific posters are an integral part of presenting your research. However, condensing all findings on just one canvas is truly challenging. This 1h crash course is designed for graduate and post graduate students. It covers the topics on reflecting on the message you want to get across, on how to design a beautiful poster and how to prepare a successful poster presentation.
What: include call to action (find out how to contribute)
When: use metrics to find when your community engages most, content calendar,
Posting a video is not enough, you need to get people to click, and then engage. Get a good thumbnail, that attracts attention and makes a narrative (he's lucky to be alive, that's illegal,...). Familiarity, Exaggerated emotions, use of contrast colours, and pattern disruption (when everything is trying to get your attention, the one that doesn't).
