J’aime mes amis du trio et tous les membres venus le compléter ces dernières années…
Et peut-être, qui sait (?), nous nous croiserons dans un concert où je me nicherai dans un coin du public, au détour d’un sourire ou d’un simple bonjour !

J’ai toujours préféré les ombres aux feux de scène.

Je ne renonce pas, je choisis — et cela sera mieux ainsi.

Mes ami·es, je vous le dis : je serai toujours en arrière-plan (composition, arrangements, direction artistique sans doute), mais vous ne me verrez sur scène quelque temps que dans mes autres projets… ou pas.
Mais il n’y aura ni méprise, ni légendes (comme il y en a eu…) sur ce départ !

Ne croyez pas qu’il s’agit d’un énième récit que l’on peut faire sur la maladie, la santé, ou une séparation sur fond de disputes…
Non : il s’agit d’être en paix avec moi-même, et de pouvoir continuer… autrement.

Je ne peux plus faire de vielle. J’ai dû annuler tant de concerts ces cinq dernières années que je me dois de plier certaines réalités, afin d’en tordre les fatalités.

Cette année, La Tène a 10 ans.
Dix ans que nous avons fondé, avec D’incise et Cyril Bondi, ce groupe qui connaît aujourd’hui une version étendue à sept. Dix ans donc, que je mêle et démêle souvenirs futurs et projections passées dans ce groupe, à la vielle ou en tant que compositeur.
Aujourd’hui, je prends la décision d’arrêter là ma collaboration sur scène avec le groupe.
