Je fais une campagne à moi tout seul pour quitter Instagram, après la grosse nouvelle de Meta qui est la goutte de trop. Force est de remarquer la difficulté d'une telle transition, car ici on se retrouvera sur un réseau où l'on fait face non pas a l'overload d'information mais à une découverte lente. Bon, prions quand même que Mastodon ne se transforme pas en la poubelle brûlante de crachats venimeux qu'est et a été Twitter encore à l'époque où j'y allais.

Thinking of Aaron Swartz today & I’m stuck on this photo - he & OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (both circled) each scraped 1000s of docs but one did it to make the knowledge free for all while the other did it to make $$$$ through probabilistic plagiarism. The US DOJ only came after one of them & the other is feted by tech bros and executives.

@amberhinds saw you work in WP accessibility. Maybe the most interesting obs for you is the the new editor's interface is incredibly hard to work with.
- I have to click everywhere to figure out the template's nesting and block arrangement.
- Hard to see which is content which is template.
- Main editor menu atomatically hides and is show by clicking WP navigation bar icon. Unintuitive?
All in all, that's the hardest thing today for me

I'm using Twenty Twenty Five as a starter for which the new editor works well, and it's a solid and simple starting point to build a custom theme as a novice

Like most: it seems robust, and the admin panel is friendly for newcomers who only want to write. Post management is easy and I don't have to write frontmatter every single time.
Least: It seems almost too robust, too heavy for a lot of uses. The editing and customization interface is not entirely there yet, maybe too heavy. Am I editing a template or a page? Why do i need to retrace 10 steps back to change fonts? Confused
I'm trying out Wordpress as a CMS for the first time, finally doing the thing that everybody does after doing things that almost nobody does (spreadsheet as CMS, hardcoded, SSG, flat file etc.).
I figure it's a good way to get a headstart to help people without a software-tinkering skillset. And make sites for friends.
Why did I wait so long?
I updated my site's typography finally, with nice nice nice fonts!
