Running into friends from the younger years, listening to a now married couple talk about their house and their cars, and they ask how is it that I couldn't do the same (in terms of material hoarding).
When people say this to me, I think many things. ...super insecure, and I'm convinced they did far more drugs than I did.

I have watched my life burn to the ground and started again from scratch many, many times.
I believe in second acts and second chances.
I want to say this clearly for anyone who needs to hear it: it is possible to survive radical, unexpected and unwanted life changes, to start again, and to build a new life that is worth living.

My apartment building is next to a small wealthy neighbourhood.
Our building has 650 people in it, while the double garage neighbourhood has 300 people in it. We both lost power last night.

If you watch CTV or GLOBAL news, you should have higher than normal anxiety levels.
Corporate news programming is designed to stress you out, make you rely on them for solutions to the problems they present.
If a news story leaves you with more questions than answers, that's not a news story.
Motorcyclists love the compliment of "nice bicycle!" Some of them get confused though. 😂
Simply living, is stressful enough. There's no reason to add extra stress. Encourage yourself to list the priorities that make you the happiest. Shed everything else.

So many lies, so many false supportive memories and false story lines, real memories start to fade because of the weight of the lies.
Lying can break your brain.
