just discovered watching TV with the Apple TV but with my airpods in and holy shit this is the way
I lead #cybersecurity, risk, and #privacy teams. I'm interested in law and politics, though I'd really like to be less interested in those things. I love reading, making, traveling, and being Bluey's dad!
Originally from the United States but now residing in #Lisbon, #Portugal since 2022.

@caoimhin it was okay. Reasonably priced. I think as good as Sakura, for sure, if not better.
@caoimhin was nearby eating at the Dora Dora Izakaya nearby :)
Although I’m an information worker with primarily US-based clients (and hence have to work today), I stand with the workers of Portugal against the government’s labor package and for improved pay and work conditions. Workers are the backbone of every country. We chose to keep the kid home from school (even though they’re open) and won’t be going out today. #Portugal #Greve
The BlackBerry movie was fun and had lots of fun 90s references.
Young men are turning to the far right because they are fucking losers.
Thanks for coming to my talk.
Don’t travel to the United States. Eliminate as much tech from the US as you can. Kick em where it hurts until they come to their senses or are made to by the companies losing business.

Spice25, Ruby Vroom, Stankonia ... any other releases getting the 25th/30th anniversary treatment that you love?
All of my favorite albums are getting 25th and 30th anniversary releases with bonus tracks. Of course this also means I'm old AF.
Friend sent me a screenshot of my first ever playtester credit for a board game.
Go check out Cross Bronx Expressway by GMT - it's great fun!
Man I didn't know I could just ask Fedi for book recommendations. Fuck I love this place.
I’m looking for recommendations of good books on “the troubles” period of Irish history. It’s okay if it covers periods before and after that as well. Non-fiction only please. This is a history I’ve so far been pretty oblivious to and would like to remedy that. Thanks!
(Yes maybe this is spurred by my recent Derry Girls watch)
EU politicians are still paying money to this guy, to use the social medium he controls, where his algorithm decides which voters they reach or do not reach.
Europe should take the fight to America, just by reporting accurately what is going on there and broadcasting it to the World.
Do the opposite of what the BBC is doing....

ahaha oh man imagine black people having been right about what America was all along
Europe’s got to place a bet on whether Trump and his cronies are going to control the US for the next few decades or not. That’s it. It’s that simple. If they turn toward deregulation, American corporatism, and America’s brand of populism to cozy up to and emulate Trump, they run the risk of isolating themselves from future administrations if Americans manage to defeat Trumpism. Instead, they should lead the way. They should become the shining “city on the hill”. They should be the safe harbor in the storm. This is the way for Europe to rise.
Stand strong against Trumpism. Reject nativism.
In a country of 300 million people there's always someone willing to help burn the whole thing down.
