After several exhausting hours off-road 🏞️💪 we were so close to our destination — an RV rest area right right next after the top of a mountain pass ⛰️🚐

A truck had lost its trailer, completely blocking the road 😳🚛💥

We've officially left Austria 🇦🇹 and crossed all of Germany 🇩🇪, from Salzburg to the Netherlands! 🇳🇱
🔧 Schnaittach & Erlangen: A work break at a hiker's parking lot with other van-lifers. 🚂 Fulda & Berlin: Seeing my home are and taking an ICE train to a meeting. 🏞️ Edersee: We saw the incredible, nearly dried-out lake with a rare exposed bridge. ✨
Our final stop was a cozy parking spot near the Dutch border. 🌳 A forest full of dog walkers was the perfect start to the day.

Finally back in Schladming 🇦🇹 — where our Mammothon was originally built by Krug 🚛💪. Time for some fixes, adjustments and most importantly ➡️ an AC ❄️ (still can’t believe it was missing 😅). While Krug worked on the truck, I hopped on the train to Vienna 🚆 for business, while Saskia soaked up the hot & sunny weather at Dachstein ☀️⛰️.

We have finished our first month - from Berlin to Allgäu, from Black Forest to Austria.

The house is sold - long live the new mobile home. Yesterday we had the hand over for the house and are now living in our MAN truck by Krug Expedition.

We did not even share this anywhere until now but already got spotted by a follower when resting next to Messe Berlin where I had booth duty for Kong Inc.

Now we are on the Autobahn heading south

On other news I have modified the bike lift at the rear so that both our motorcycles do fit on it now. Hoping to find a knowledgeable/experienced hand next week to re-position the spare wheel to another location

During the last days we have had multiple goodbye gatherings with family and friends. Feels weird that it is less than two weeks until our journey starts.

We have arrived at camp area 1 of Abenteuer Allrad and now are members of the Krug tribe. The adventure starts here!
