@feoh @petard @latenightlinux LOL! Funny in Uni we did Verilog & Handel-C (don't ask me about any of it it's long since wiped from my mind!) on the motorola 6800 and 68000 chips... I look back at my lack of enjoyment of the projects we had at the time and kinda would have appreciated them more now. Ah well...

@feoh @latenightlinux counter to that is the #MNT machines, their manual and packaging etc. looks so nice almost retro in being so open and hackable. If I had the spare cash and time!
@feoh @latenightlinux I think it's being a kid and the abject disappointment of what the box suggested the game was gonna be and then it's ascii art invaders. Elite was pretty special, but looking at screenshots now my green only wireframe I played it on.. argh I dunno. I think if you were a bit older an wrote stuff more code might be stronger affection 🤷 also never miss the opportunity to wind one of the lads up 😉
