@khaost that’s working as intended unfortunately. It also annoys me in parts where liquid glass elements float above a shadow, like in Photos app. Somehow a shadow doesn’t affect what’s behind glass. Real physical properties my ass.

Liquid glass is so much more tastefully done on tvOS than everywhere else (probably just because there’s less room for them to overuse it). I really hope they done that crap down on other OSs.

@palmin search ad, AWS console, then your app. Double-checked that I’m on my US account (my main iCloud account is Croatian, media & purchases account is US). Could it have something to do with region settings for some reason?

I think I’ve finally digested the New Aqua reveal and:

Those refraction effects are gorgeous, and I love that button shapes are metaballs.

Sure, I can believe that they’ll tune opacities to be more usable over the course of the beta period.

But I find it profoundly depressing that Apple, of all companies, is so proud to reveal the UI in this state, with many of their own examples utterly illegible both in the keynote and on the website — never mind real-world usage.

@snazzyq CarPlay is awesome as a standard way to display navigation and music controls from iPhones, I don’t understand who would ever want anything more than it is. I’ll take a physical A/C knob or two over anything Apple could ever design.
