@thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social One category of software that causes issues that i rarely ever see mentioned is home banking. I guess the underlying problem here is that interfacing banks is extremely fragmented around the world, so maybe its better in some regions than here, but I kinda doubt it
I tried all the different software options that are supposed to work with german banks and they are all varying degrees of ass, compared to the things you can use on windows... and most of those wont run under wine as well
Yeah, you can just do it via web, but once you need to manage more than one account that quickly becomes a non-starter as well
