I was thinking about writing up my thoughts on #vimwiki vs #tiddlywiki, but I've stopped. I don't think anybody cares. Lord knows the blog has zero interest, and it's not like I have the time to make it a regular polished presentation.

I've got things I can do in this house that might not be any fun, but at least someone will get something out of it.

@carturo222 I'm presuming it will be differences in file layout and naming. E.g. SuSE expects lib6c.x64.so and fedora expects lib6c_amd64.so

If you want pixel perfect rendering output to pdf and pray.

Anything else is not consistent anyway, and in it company usage, Libre is just fine

Well mom's house is intact and unharmed - even the smoke smell isn't horrible.

House next door was knocked down with an excavator after they were sure the fire was out.

Unfortunately the duplex on the other side looks pretty badly damaged. And it was a habitat for humanity house, so that must be a gut punch for the occupants.

An update, house beside burning house now also on fire...

Luckily mom's house has a chunk of yard between it and the flames. Fingers still crossed.

@Benhm3 I work in automotive. I've never seen that abbreviation before now. No, its not you.

In closer to home drama, the house next to my mother's home is on fire.

Got her out, and judging by the huge number of trucks and fire fighters on hand promptly, I expect they'll have it controlled enough her house will be ok (fingers crossed).

No pets to worry about, and she's safe with family. We'll check the house in an hour or two if I can get through
