Obsessed with building stuff that truly matters.

I can’t stop myself from doing napkin math at every place I go and reading Paul Graham essays in bed before crashing.

I post random stuff I find interesting and juicy. Once in a while, it resonates with a lot of people.

In my free time, I love going down rabbit holes on the most random topics. Right now, I’m deep into learning about Silver Tsunamis (aging population trends), Akiyas (abandoned houses in Japan), & Greenwashing.

HUGE Naval FAN!!

And just like our parents didn’t realize what was slipping away - we might not either.
Until it’s too late.
So maybe our kids won’t just need gyms for the body.
Maybe they’ll need gyms for the mind.
To remember how to think.
To stay sharp.
To stay… human.
A decade from now, mental fitness might be the new six-pack.
Mental strength won’t just be an edge -it’ll be a survival skill.
And maybe the greatest flex of the future won’t be what AI can do…but what you still can, without it.

Our parents saw what the Industrial Revolution did.
Machines took over the heavy lifting.
Physical work vanished.
But something else disappeared too - movement, strength, health.

So our generation picked up dumbbells.
Signed up for gyms.
Tried to undo decades of damage.
Now look at us.
Staring down a new revolution.
This time, it’s not about muscles.

It’s the mind.
AI is taking over the thinking.
The brainstorming.
Even the creativity.
Mental work is slowly being outsourced.

- no diabetes, no doctor visits. Just simple, intentional living.

When I heard that, I honestly felt something shift in my chest.

Sometimes, clarity doesn’t come from a podcast, a course, or a book.
It comes from feeding goats, picking fresh eggs, and sitting around a fire with people who matter.

And so, someday - I’ll have a farm.
Not for the land. Not for the goats.
But for the peace I felt under those stars.
Maybe not now. Maybe not soon.
But my heart knows…one day, I’ll find my way there

In fact, it was his wife who discovered Airbnb while selling fresh eggs at a local farmers market - and just like that, they listed their farm and now they host guests from all over the world.

For the last 12 years, he’s woken up at 5:30 AM - not for work, not for meetings - but just to watch the sunrise with his wife. And every evening, without fail, they sit together and watch the sun set too.
He eats what he grows, drinks two beers a day, and lives without stress, without illness

So we spoke about AI too - some of us work deep in the space. And here’s what we realized:
Nobody really knows what the future looks like.
All you can do is stay aware. Learn what’s possible. See what others are building.
Some tools I’m tracking:
n8n
Perplexity Deep Research
OpenAI Operator
Claude
Devin AI
Manus AI
CrewAI

now back to the farm..
So the owner was this warm, down-to-earth 52-year-old who greeted us like old friends. He had never heard of OpenAI or GPT.

People who genuinely care. People who love without keeping score.
And here’s what hit us all hard:
Most of our lists didn’t even cross 10 names.
That moment humbled all of us.
Because we walk around thinking we have dozens of close people.
But when you sit down and really ask yourself,
“Who would be there if I lost everything?”…you suddenly realize how few really would.

That night, clarity hit hard.

No matter how far you run from it, AI always finds a way into the conversation.

And at 1:30 AM, sitting under a billion stars, AI was the last thing on my mind.

Just sitting there…far from the noise, the deadlines, the Slack pings - something unexpected happened.
Our minds, free from the rush, drifted to one thing: The people who truly care about us.
Not followers. Not connections. Real ones. People who show up. People who call without a reason.
So, around that campfire, we did something raw.
We made a list.
A list of names - no parents, no family by default. Just friends.

I want to own a FARM.

Not a metaphor. A real one. Chickens. Goats. Fresh pies. Stars at night. A life far from the city.

Last weekend, a few of us decided to get away from the AI rat race. With everything moving so fast - agents, models, startups, fundings - we just needed to pause. To breathe. To think.

So we packed up, drove out, and landed on a quiet 27 acres farm - $489 for two nights split between us. No notifications. No launches. No dashboards. Just open skies, campfires, and silence.

Incredibly frustrating how leaving your phone in another room is the world’s best productivity hack!!

We took a trillion-dollar innovation and turned it into a glorified dopamine slot machine.

The device that was meant to connect us…..now just distracts, divides, and drains.

Modern loneliness guys…. brought to you by 5G….lol

TikTok users spend an average of 95 minutes per day on the app, compared to Instagram's 62 minutes. And TikTok's engagement rate is 5.53%, surpassing Instagram Reels' 4.36%.

Instagram tried to counter with Reels, but TikTok's algorithm and user engagement have kept it ahead.

TikTok used Instagram to grow….and now it’s bigger than Instagram.

Back in the day, TikTok ran a hell lot of ads on Instagram to attract users.

They may have spent around $150M–$300M advertising on Instagram alone during that initial scale-up phase (2018–2020).

Instagram thought, "Let them spend, our users won't leave." But TikTok's strategy worked. Now, TikTok boasts over 1 billion monthly active users, while Instagram has around 2 billion.

Stack Overflow didn’t just get disrupted. It got deleted.

In 2020, it was the dev world's go-to.

By 2025? It's a ghost town.

Daily questions: from 8,000 to 3,200 - a 60% drop.
Monthly visitors: down 52%, from 100M to 48M.
Average response time: went up from 26 minutes to 2.4 hours.
Answer acceptance rate: plummeted from 65% to 38%.

No downvotes. No passive-aggressive replies.

Just answers. Instantly. In your context.

Stack Overflow was built for a different era.

New York City has launched a congestion pricing toll system.

They're launching a $15 congestion charge to drive into downtown Manhattan during peak hours.

Cameras + E-ZPass = automatic toll.

This will result in:
Less traffic. Cleaner air. More funding for subways and buses.

This isn’t a wild experiment.

It’s a playbook already working in:
London

Singapore

Stockholm

Milan

Oslo

Gothenburg

These cities saw smoother roads, better air, and public transit that actually works.

I’ve met so many like-minded folks by just wearing this one tee around, on hikes, dinners, bars etc.

Honestly…I might just keep doing this forever.

Go Berkshire!!

Just keep buying Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares over time - and future you will thank you!!
