After consideration, I wonder if promoted ads counts as post seen and part of the #ratelimit for twitter ? If that's the case, the other day on the mobile client I was having ads every 3 posts, so that would actually accounts for 1/3 of the rate limitation. Plus loading someone's page initially loads a few tweet as well. Is this part of the rate limitation as well ?

@jaynelly I think it seriously overstayed its welcome in the social media space and it's been teetering on the brink for too long.

I seriously think the rate limitation will be the final nail in the coffin for all non-blue user if they don't reverse it.

So, since there's a lot of newcomer to mastodon now because of this shit.

What are you thoughts on that ? Do you think that'll be enough so people could migrate over to another social media finally ?
