Claude 3.7 describes the image as: "The image shows a performer in a striking red sequined dress with a dramatic fan-like collar or accessory in matching red. Their theatrical makeup includes distinctive facial cosmetics that create a bold, stylized appearance. They're seated in what appears to be a retro-futuristic setting with a yellow wall, a potted plant, and geometric wall features including a hexagonal light fixture.

The scene has a theatrical, dramatic quality with the vibrant red costume contrasting against the yellow background. The styling and set design suggest this is from a science fiction production from the late 1970s or early 1980s, with the characteristic visual aesthetic of that era's television productions."

Series B, Episode 03 - Weapon

JENNA: Orbit underway. Standard by Two and building.
AVON: It will have to be a very primitive signal, Blake, for this to work.
BLAKE: I said it was our only chance. I did not say it was a good one! Time to partial orbit?

Claude 3.7 describes the image as: "This image appears to be from the classic science fiction television series "Blake's 7" from the late 1970s/early 1980s. The scene shows several crew members on the bridge or control room of their spacecraft, likely the Liberator.

The setting features the distinctive futuristic design elements typical of the show, with angular, geometric panels, hexagonal lighting fixtures, and the characteristic control stations where the crew members are positioned. There's a light-colored seating area or console visible in the foreground.

The crew members are wearing the distinctive costumes from the series, with some in darker attire and one figure visible in a reddish outfit. They appear to be at their stations on the bridge, which was a common setting for scenes in the show where the characters would plan their missions or navigate through space.

The image captures the retro sci-fi aesthetic that made this British television series memorable, with its distinctive set design and visual style that reflected the production values and creative approach of that era of science fiction television."

@murena I really like the Easy Installer on your website (e.foundation/installer/). Is there any way to find a list of devices currently supported by the installer? I've unlocked a few phones and connected them to the web installer, only to have the website say the device isn't supported.

The devices are listed in the documentation with tips for installing manually. So they should run /e/OS, the installer just doesn't know how to work with them.

Today's mastodon.social update brings some improvements to the video player in Mastodon's web app. You can double-tap the video to enter and exit full screen, the controls will disappear once your mouse stops moving, and a new indicator will show you which function you triggered when you press a hotkey (like "m" to mute or "arrow up" to increase volume).

@gruber I have no horse in this race - Apple, Tesla, Amazon, whatever, they're for chumps - but it's fun to see these pointless quibless for small people while the object of their affection is funding and supporting nazis.

Like, where are your priorities? Or do you not care? ...or worse?

Anyone who says ‘Zelensky is a dictator’ or ‘Zelensky provoked a fight in the Whitehouse’ is a Nazi. Period.

If they’re just repeating it because someone else said it, it doesn’t matter anymore. You’re one of them or you’re one of us. PERIOD. Trump is a Nazi. Musk is a Nazi. PERIOD.

Anyone on their staffs is a Nazi. Being an apologist for them makes you so adjacent to being a Nazi we would need an electron microscope to be sure.

I can’t remember being this enraged in my adult life. What sniveling cowards the GOP and anyone who voted for them are.
