@doctormo @avreference @drj The screenshot is from the current icon theme, "multicolor". Dash 2.0 proudly features the hopelessly outdated disk icon for both "save" and "save as...". The file cabinet metaphor is now used to represent the "document resources" panel, which neatly groups color swatches, fonts, and images used in your file, just like a real world file cabinet \o/

@doctormo @greenpete @dopelover Thanks for the interest guys :) as a designer with not many technical capabilities, I'm in a slow but steady transition from proprietary and privacy concerning environments to open and private ones. During the transition I need to use the tools I can be productive with ;) Behance is an Adobe site, but is also a great place to get exposure, so it serves me well. As I gain skills to develop my own portfolio, I'll certainly bring this project to it.

The Dash icon set is one of the pillars of my design vision for a modern and refreshed UI for Inkscape.

I designed it to bring clarity and consistency to Inkscape’s UI, with clean geometry and shapes optimized for both high-density and low-resolution screens.

@mray thanks for the comment! My collaboration to Inkscape is relatively recent, so I'm not the best person to paint this picture. As @ltlnx mentioned, things are changing and the future looks promising. Having people excited about UI improvements already is a big step!

I just had an amazing week with the @inkscape folks in Nuremberg. First half was the Inkscape Summit, second half the @lgm.
