@mikemccaffrey Will do. I’ve added the whole album on Apple Music.
Despite all that's wrong in the world, newly sworn in New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani's victory is hopeful sign. And there is a lot that his campaign can teach Democrats, regardless of their opinions on his policy stances. https://plus.flux.community/p/even-democrats-who-disagree-can-learn
Texas A&M University just ordered a #philosophy professor to remove a #Plato reading from his course because it supposedly promoted "gender ideology."
The guy who started the first known Western university is apparently a woke postmodernist to Republican censors.
The supposedly evil reading was excerpts from Plato's Symposium, a book that has been taught in universities for thousands of years without incident--until now.

@mikemccaffrey I picked it as it’s played over the credit Sentimental Value film, which I saw in the cinema today. 👍🏻
Bethell out for 154.
Starc gets him to take his 31st wicket of the series.
England lead Australia by 145 runs with 1 wicket remaining.

Mayor Jacob Frey for President?
Word of the day: Tinderbox.
Friends everywhere: horrified by the murder by #ICE in #Minneapolis this morning? Horrified by the false claims by officials about a "vehicle ramming" when eyewitness testimony says it was a coldblooded killing?
Remember what your city or a city close to you did in 2020 after George Floyd. We in Minneapolis need you again. We need that response again. We need your help. Cause a ruckus, get in the streets, block ICE, be water, spread fire.
Pass it on. This city has shown so much bravery so far during this fed occupation. We need yours now too.
Sentimental Value is a family drama at its core. One with themes that have been explored before. Such as a divorce that breaks up a family, and how that impacts the children, even when they have grown up.
The acting is superb. And the dialogue in the script is excellent. Significant parts of the film are in Norwegian with English subtitles. I hardly noticed when the dialogue switched to English the first time.
The four leads are excellent. Expect award nominations. Worth seeing. 8/10.
In Omniplex Dundonald to see #NewFilmRelease Sentimental Value.
