@cliffwade I usually do my big driving on the weekends. This trip I couldn’t leave until Monday. I thought it would be a jam packed mess. It’s been one of the most pleasant long haul driving experiences ever.

I’m ~2 hours from my destination barring fun stops. Yee haw.

I don't know about y'all, but when there are things going on that are way more important than bits and bytes and blinky lights, I tend to have a hard time even caring about teh cyberz. But the reality is that these are the times it matters most.

@da_667 his argument is it’s wrong based on methodology, which is correct. 9 test subjects isn’t a study, it’s a grade school science project. He’s attacking the methodology as wrong as to deflect from the obvious yet ignored by him conclusion that LLMs cause brain rot, ignoring that by using AI (which is a series of LLMs) people don’t develop critical thinking or problem solving skills.

He is pedantically accurate that it doesn’t cause brain rot, but fails to mention that it retards brain development.
