At Vienna’s Donauinselfest, IT:U’s Geosocial AI group, led by Bernd Resch, delivered real-time insights from mobile & social media data to support emergency services. The AI-based system analyzes mobile and social media data to track crowd density or detect emotional signals like tensions— all while respecting data privacy.

Exploring human-machine collaboration through dance:
Insights from DANCR – a project within the interdisciplinary research collective H.A.U.S., co-founded by IT:U PostDoc Christoph Hubatschke. He and Christopher Frauenberger, Professor of Human-Computer Interaction at IT:U, are exploring AI research with and through contemporary dance.
