@z3r0fox It never left. People are still out here making industrial music, myself included, although I’ve leaned more towards IDM and other genres over time. But it’s not the same. Nothing will compare to greats like Ministry or Skinny Puppy.

@polarity - A solid 50/50 from me. Sometimes I feel like sticking too strongly to an idea I had before sitting down to make the song can limit me.

Some producers may become too focused on technical complexities and lose sight of the artistic aspect of creating music. While it is important to have a good understanding of music production techniques, it should not come at the expense of creativity and enjoyment.
At the end of the day, music is meant to be a form of expression and communication that resonates with listeners.

@MattKollock I live in Iowa, where there’s not a lot of people into the type of stuff I make. I’ve been making music since 2001, releasing albums since 2009. It took until last August to be invited to play a show or get any local recognition. I guess I didn’t really try, but now I get invited to play more shows, and it seems like a weird little electronic scene is coming together. However, nearly all of my listens/downloads/sales/likes/follows come from elsewhere.
