What is happening with Apple’s design team?

From the outside, it appears that all the senior folks have left along with their institutional and historical knowledge.

It’s like someone who was born after 9-11 is making all the decisions. And now we have UI that’s transparent and incomprehensible.

We tried transparent menu bars in Mac OS X Snow Leopard and everyone hated it.
